Reviews
Tiny little place in Chinatown and very charming. The choices of Ramen and appetizers were perfect, so it's not overwhelming to pick.
I got the spicy original Ramen with some extra eggs, cause they are bomb. I got the crab stick tempura and lollipop fried shrimp with egg on top. I liked the shrimp a lot more, but both delicious and crunchy.
The Ramen portion was perfect. I wasn't too full, but full enough. Broth was very creamy and tasty. It's apparently cooked for 2 days for the "umami flavor to release". I slurped up every last bit.
Got a side of sake peach jelly. Not for everyone, but I'm always a fan. Acts as a dessert as well.
It's a tiny spot, so service was fast and precise for lunchtime.
Overall, would definitely eat here again and highly recommend!
It is cash only. You have to go inside and write your name down. Dinner time Wait time was about 20min outside. There is no place to wait inside. Once seated service is super fast. Ramen came in like 2min after ordering, appetizers came later. The black garlic tonkotsu ramen was good, but not amazing/life changing. Ambiance is good. Overall, good but will try other places.
We went to Chinatown, and the place is a bit tight, so if you have a rush, I won't come there because it is jam-packed. However, the vibes there were fantastic; I felt like I was in Japan; then we started with some appetizers, and I'm not lying were indescribable. There was a lot of flavour; after that, we ordered three different kinds of ramen, all of which were the best ramen I've ever tried. In conclusion, if you come to Boston and you're looking for the best ramen spot, this place is the one
Amazing ramen spot! So accommodating to dish modifications, I also have a shellfish allergy and they are so great about that. Cash only, food comes out fast.
We got the black garlic tonkotsu ramen, and the spicy miso ramen. Also got a side of black karaage. The taste of the soup was nothing special. The chashu was mostly fat, barely any meat in them. Have had better before in other places. The karaage was good. Soft and juicy. Salvaged my meal. Overall, wouldn't recommend the place.
really cute spot!! walked in for lunch and got seated quickly, super cute decor and really adorable vibe. i got the karashiro and boy let me tell you, it did me justice. I was completely satisfied with the meal, the meat was cooked to perfection. timely service and polite staff. had a lovely time w my sister and friend while there.
I was excited to come here based on the reviews. The spicy miso ramen was good, but not what I was expecting for the reviews we read. The pork belly was incredible, the noodles were also top notch, but the broth needed something unfortunately.
I was very happy with my visit. The staff was very attentive, quick and friendly. I ordered the Kuro ramen and didn't expect such a rich taste - perfectly cooked noodles, a creamy broth and perfectly assorted toppings. Haven't had such good ramen outside of Japan. Prices are absolutely fair and you get your money's worth!
